Tip of the day
Drinking 2 glasses of water after waking up will help activate internal organs. Drinking 1 glass of water before a meal improves digestion. Drinking 1 glass of water after taking a bath lowers blood pressure. Drinking 1 glass of water before bedtime will help prevent heart attack, stroke and leg cramps (by as much as 80%). A study, published in 2002, in the American Journal of Medical Epidemiology indicates that participants who drink five or more glasses of plain water a day had a much lower risk of fatal coronary heart disease, (CHD) when compared to those who drink less than two glasses of water per day. Staying hydrated with water (not soda, coffee, milk or other drinks) seems to be key. The study indicated that drinking 5 glasses a day of other beverages offered no protection for the heart. And that dehydration can make one more susceptible to coronary heart disease. So go drink your water!
